50plus provides an umbrella for experienced service provides to operate under. The service providers offer a range of services limited only by their skill sets. If you would like to become a 50plus service provider you can register by following the links below.

50plus seeks to attract, develop and retain the best service providers, ensuring that each person or organisation holds a challenging and rewarding position.

50plus service providers fall into three categories:

• Direct employees. These are staff positions typically reporting direct to our head office and based near our offices in the South East of England. Occasionally 50plus has a vacancy for employed service providers or administrative staff at our Buckinghamshire head office. For current vacancies please see the table at the base of this page.
• Associate service providers and franchisees. These are self employed personnel or organisations whom 50plus pays to provide service on an as required basis after having interviewed them and in the case of most individuals run a CRB check. Some are full time, others part time.
• Web based service providers. Service providers who register on-line are able to view jobs posted by potential customers; the other 50plus services are unavailable. You can sign up to become a web based service provider immediately by clicking here.

50plus provides a range of services for its employees, Associate service providers and franchisees including:

• Marketing and advertising to bring the brand and service to public notice
• The popular 50plus web site with on-line booking, sales, job posting and a well developed web presence
• Professional centralised telephone answering by the 50plus office
• Customer database and job tracking
• Qualified technical advice and support
• 50plus central commercial sales
• Centralised billing and administration
• Quality control maintenance.

How to become an associate 50plus Service Provider

Associate Service Providers can be individuals or organisations. For individuals these are typically self employed positions (except in areas near our offices in the South East where we have direct employees) and can be in a wide variety of skills. Our core business is in practical skills, typically delivering property maintenance and improvements in the plumbing, electrical and handyman fields for our customers. We are also keen to attract differing skills such as white goods servicing and computer support; we are open to ideas!

50plus organises marketing, advertising and administration although service providers can run their own local area advertising if they wish. 50plus provides free advertising copy. 50plus will consider funding advertising once there are two or more service providers in an area. There are no entry costs to becoming an Associate Service Provider. Individuals may be asked to complete a CRB check. You will need to meet with 50plus once a year.

Established Associate Service Providers or individuals seeking to to run a geographic area have the opportunity to become a 50plus Franchisee. Franchises are suitable for those with the drive and determination to run their own business, employ others and share in the unique opportunity offered by 50plus. Franchisees are capable managers, enjoy the benefits of independence but benefit from the extensive infrastructure and support supplied by 50plus.
