January 2010. 50plus announces the launch of it's dedicated 50plus Electrical and plumbing services.

November 2009. 50plus announces that it has opened The 50plus Shop selling fixed price works and Independent Living products

October 2009. We welcome Keith Bowie as the franchisee for the Milton Keynes area.

August 2009 - 50plus is awarded one of the first Bucks Economic and Learning Partnership awards (more on the Press pages)

Sept 2009. We welcome David Lesierach who joins the office staff.

July 2009 - And now we have a mayor! Dave McClelland, 50plus's man about Newbury has been 'elected' Mayor of Wash Water (that's the local area). Good on you Dave.

June 2009 - 50plus announces that it is to launch a supply and installation service through an on-line shop

April 2009 - We bid farewell to that well known voice on the the telephones David Tullett who is moving to Exeter.

February 2009 - Sadly we bid farewell to Brian Appleby in Wiltshire and North Somerset who is retiring due to illness. Brian has been with 50plus Handyman for a number of years

June 2008 - Welcome to recent new Handymen Terry Hamilton in St Helens and Roger Masson in Eastleigh (for Winchester and Southampton)

May 2008 - the 50plus redesigned web site is launched. The revised design provide wider pages, an updated banner line and improved visibility with more space

April 2008 - Revised 17th Edition Wiring Regulations information is available in the technical support section of the 50plus web site

February 2008 - Worthing and Brighton franchisee Tony Sharman and founder Roger Runswick appear on BBC Southern Counties radio. Welcome to Peter Bennett who takes over in Norwich

February 2008 - Saga Magazine 'pin-up' Pete Hudson appears on BBC Radio Stoke. Pete, originally a franchisee in Buckinghamshire, moved to a location near Cheadle and is now serving 50plus Handyman clients in Staffordshire

January 2008 - The new Wiring Regulations (BS7671) comes into effect in the middle of 2008. Information is available on the technical support section of the 50plus web site
