50plus IT Support provides a professional 'no fix no fee' technology support service covering computers, information technology (IT), television, video, telephones and broadband and includes:

Charges

Pay As You Go charges

Pay As You Go charges vary by area, reflecting local operating costs. Our prices in South East England are (for January 2008) £28 for the first half hour and £19 for subsequent half hours ex VAT which we don't charge in most areas.

There is no call out fee and no mileage charge.

Outside the South East lower charges may apply.

Discounts are available for pensioners and FSB members.

Prices apply 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday (some personnel work outside these hours). Normally a premium of 50% applies to out of hours working.

If you need to postpone an appointment please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

If you do need to cancel a booking please give us at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise a cancellation fee may be applicable.

In most cases payment is by cheque or cash. In a number of areas you can pay by credit/debit card.

Who provides the service

The service is provided locally by direct employees or appointed 50plus franchisees. Many are trained engineers.

Estimates

Setting up a new product, service or network typically takes around an hour, a new PC around one and a half hours, a health check takes around an hour. Most problems can be fixed fairly quickly. In most cases we will be able to provide a guide when on site.

How to obtain service

To obtain service please telephone 50plus on 0845 22 50 495 between 9am and 5:30pm week days with messages taken outside these hours or if the lines are all busy. You are charged a local call rate only. Book on-line by clicking here.
