We would note that The 50plus Organisation web site links to other sites. These are outside our control and are not covered by our privacy policy.

What information does The 50plus Organisation collect?

We may collect:

• any details you provide when registering with us
• information that we learn about you as a user of our services
• data obtained in the normal way about users of our web site (when you access a web site information such as IP addresses is exchanged between your computer and the web site host computer).

If you receive information from us and any of your details are incorrect please let us know and we will modify our database.

If you receive information from us and do not wish to do so in future please let us know by sending an e-mail to us at enquiries@the50plus.co.uk with 'unsubscribe' in the header and we will remove you from our circulation list. Alternatively you may of course write to us.

How do we use collected information?

The 50plus Organisation uses information on customers primarily to:

• manage customer accounts
• ensure customers know with whom they are dealing (e.g. ensure Handyman customers know who will call)
• personalise the information you may receive from us - provide offers or information which we think you may be interested in
• notify you of any changes in the way we interact with you, such as changes to our web site.

At present our web site does not use cookies.

Information about you may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. We will transfer the information only to third parties who have equivalent privacy policies in place or to whom transfers have been approved by the Data Protection Commissioner. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

Security

The 50plus Organisation maintains the security of your data as required by the Data Protection Act 1998. To maintain this security we may require you to co-operate with our security checks before we can disclose information to you.
