A rain saver collects water from a convenient
round or rectangular down pipe and stores it in a 100 litre container
which can be used to fill a water can or attached to a hose pipe.
In heavy rains excess water continues down the drain pipe. These
are great for providing a water supply for gardening. With appropriate
