The mature workforce represents a huge asset in terms of ability, experience, knowledge and wisdom. According to the Office for National Statistics a third of the UK population will be over 50 by 2020 and by 2029 there will be over 12.3 million people over 65. Government has introduced the flexible retirement age and wants mature workers to be able to continue in employment. Many people who are mature in years wish to continue in or return to employment but either cannot find a role or find the challenge of setting up a business daunting. The 50plus Organisation seeks to overcome these obstacles and to act as an enabler for the mature workforce and particularly the 50 plus age group to provide services to businesses and the community. Our vision is to be a leading consumer services brand and a leading business to business brand in the provision of mature staff. Our current services offer:
